Our Origin.
MjengoMart began with a bigger idea: everything construction under one roof. In Dar es Salaam, building a home means chasing suppliers across the city, one trade at a time. We wanted to close that gap.
But you can't learn an industry by announcing you'll own all of it. So we started with furniture, the part of building people can see, touch, and judge for themselves. It was the easiest door into a hard trade, and it taught us how the market buys, what people trust, and where the friction is.Furniture is where we began.
